Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was born on February 20,1902. In San Fransisco California. A large earthquake and fire had damaged him for life. He had a very rough childhood, No one really supported him except for his father. Ansel struggled in school a lot because the earthquake had damaged his nose and it was hard for him to fit in at school. He did not do well in school and he was tutored by his father and his aunt before trying private school. When he was twelve he taught himself to play piano and he played for quite a few years and by 1920 it was his intended profession. Ansel created his first fully visualized photograph monolith, and the face of half dom,were created in 1927. In 1927 he also met another photographer named Edward Weston. which they became very important to each other. Ansel also struggled a lot with financial problems in his life.

I chose this photo because the trees have a lot of depth to it and it looks like a forest scene right out of a movie. With the dark of the forest the trees really stand out in the picture. The forest looks like its never ending it just keeps going and going.

These photos are really cool. The reason I chose the stadium was because I thought is was really col that you could see the whole stadium at once it looks huge. I like this picture of the street because you can see all the way around the corner. and it looks like it turns really sharp.

Found Faces Story.

There was a lonely old fellow, his name is Edgar. Edgar was a very good man, he spent most of his time roaming the school bored and trying to get some excitement out of this old building. Edgar had a family once he had a wife and a son. His wife left him for another man and his son past away. He always told his son to stay in the house till school hours were over. But one day Edgars son did not listen and went outside during school hours and got swept away by the herd of school children and Edgar never saw him again. Edgars job was to look over the school during the night and the summer. He spends the day sleeping and patrolled the school by night. There is usually not much excitement at night but he has very many stories of people trying to get by him. He says there has never been anyone or anything that has been able to get by him unless it was during his vacation but other than that he has a clean record. He has a hawk eye and canine hearing. He grew up around these parts and this is all he remembers as a child. This is what he grew up knowing this is what he was going to do I don't think he had a choice. He always ran around here as a kid and knows these halls like the back of his hand. This job is in his blood he was born to do this. Edgar has a hidden talent that helps him with his job, this is the reason no one can get by him. Edgar can see through walls, he can look at a wall and see strait through and see if there's anyone on the other side trying to break his clean record. Edgar was born with it he thinks he has had it all his life, he noticed it when he was about eight years old. He was amazed at his talent and he is the only one that has it but he has never told anyone but me and you.
